The Early Shift is an iced zero-proof drink made with First Bloom vanilla syrup, fresh espresso and cold brew concentrate. It takes about 5 minutes and makes one drink in a coupe.

Our zero-proof espresso martini. Extra espresso and a pinch of salt give it the body the vodka usually brings.
Ingredients
Serves 1
- Fresh espresso, cooled1½ oz
- Cold brew concentrate1 oz
- First Bloom · Vanilla Syrup¾ oz3 pumps
- Salta small pinch
- Coffee beans3, to garnish
How to make it
- Chill a coupe.
- Shake espresso, cold brew, First Bloom and salt very hard with ice.
- Double strain into the coupe.
- Float three beans on the foam.

Tips and swaps
- Swap the syrup: Late Bloom · Vanilla Macadamia Syrup — made with real macadamia. Toasted nut over our vanilla: buttery, a little nutty, and made for oat milk.
- Swap the syrup: Low Lamp · Brown Sugar Syrup — real dark brown sugar, cooked slow. No cinnamon, no flavorings, just the caramel depth cold brew wants.
